The weight of an object acts on a sensor through the hook. The sensor converts the signal into an analog voltage and sends it to the data acquisition board. After amplification, filtering, and A/D conversion to a digital signal, the data processing board processes the weight data, which is then displayed on a display screen embedded directly on the crane scale. The operator can view the weight data and other related information directly from the display window on the scale.
