Some parts of the rescue tripod need to be regularly lubricated with oil for protection. If these special components are not maintained regularly, the lifting function of the rescue tripod will be affected to a certain extent.
The rescue tripod is adjusted in height by means of the lifting pin and the screw hole part. The length adjustment of the three legs is accomplished by the change of the screw hole position and the fixation of the bolts. These fixed points are all locked by the tightening of the bolt threads, but this component is very prone to corrosion.
Therefore, firefighters need to apply lubricating oil to the lifting pin and the screw hole parts regularly. This can not only prevent rust but also ensure the smooth rotation of the lifting pin.
